I've used this UT300S for a couple of days now and I am quite pleased with it. Build quality is good, i.e. good finish and no squeaks. Most importantly it measures temperature satisfactory correctly and consistently based on my "home tests" - the fridge, boiling water and so on - compared to my multimeter thermocouple. It uses the 9V battery type - I prefer the ones with 2xAAA batteries - but it is not that much of a con. All in all for this great price it is a nice IR thermometer for home and DIY use.

good to handle like the color display is clear and the light is great but when operating it’s not acurate because i have made a comparasion and the other ones show the same temperature
