Works right out of the box. Just connect it to NAZE32 +5v, GND, Pin3 and Pin4. In Cleanflight enable UART2 port for GPS with 9400baud, than in Cleanflight configuration GPS enable, NEMA, en the you correct magnetic declination. You can find it on: http://www.magnetic-declination.com/

At first it worked ok, although it only found a maximum of 7 satellites. However, after a few minutes it became very hot and the number of satellites dropped to just 2-3. I repeated this a few times, just to confirm that the heat and the number of satellites was related, and then the module seemed to die completely. I opened it up and as you can see from my photos, the regulator has burnt out. There was a LOT of hot glue used in the construction and not much space inside. It looks like the regulator had been pressing on the inside of the RF shield case. The u-blox chip used is a good one, but I think it is let down by the too compact construction. In general, GPS modules don't need to be this small, and we don't usually have them on a small racing drone. Mostly they are used on larger aircraft, so we don't worry about the size so much but we want them to be reliable. I would like to see a module like this with the convenient connector, but using the normal size antenna, and with no hot-glue in the construction.

Just connected it to my computer (via rs232 to ttl converter, power from usb 5v) and tested with original ublox 7 ucenter software. I got 3d lock with 10 satelites indoor (near the window) after few minutes first time, second time it was locked immediately. The ucenter software have lots of options (like baud rate, refresh rate, etc)to configure GPS module. I have not any heat issues as other users reported (it was up for about 2 hours).

Got this to play around with RTH functions on a 210mm frame. You have to move CH3 and CH4 to CH5 and CH6, then connect the TX/RX to 3 and 4, and power/GND. In Cleanflight, enable UART2 port for GPS at 115200 baud rate. Enable GPS as uBlock. Power on, wait a minute or two, and you're set. Nice product, great price.

I'm having problems with mine. It has an onboard battery backup to preserve the settings, but I think the battery on mine is dying. It holds the values for a short time, then reverts back to the default settings. Out of the box, it was not configured for the NAZE32, but I think this was probably due to the battery dying. Either way, I'd recommend connecting it to the ublox configuration tool and at least checking the configured messages and settings before using it. The ublox configuration tool identified this as a Ublox 5, not a Ublox 7 as described in the product page. One I configured it correctly and saved the settings, it would work fine with the NAZE32, but eventually the settings reset back to the defaults. If you are running the GPS at anything but the default baud rate of 9600, it won't work at all and you'll have to disconnect it and reconfigure it. I was using it with Cleanflight on a softserial port at 9600 baud. When configured properly, it sends out a short set of 6-7 messages at 5Hz. The default message set for the GPS is much larger, and it overwhelms the softserial port and eventually crashes the flight controller. So this GPS, and more specifically, the battery, is a single point failure that could bring down your multirotor. I'm going to look into replacing the battery and see if that helps. Otherwise, I probably won't use this item. It's a great value for the price, but the reliability is too poor to trust using it at this point.

Runs at 9600 bps (Tested only with PuTTY). Quick satellite lock (about 30 sec). It does get a little warm (about 37 C). Wires are very fragile so install and don't bend too much.
