This board works great on the APM 2.6. The wiring directions on this site are all hosed up. What worked for me was to run the three-lead connector flat across the 5-6-7 SIGNAL pins, black-red-white, then put the two-wire (blue-green) connector vertical on O1 ground and voltage pins (vertical, as in perpendicular to the three-lead connector). I did not have to change the LED setting in my firmware at all. When I plugged it in and powered up the quadcopter it worked immediately with ARM and GPS lights flashing/locking just as they were supposed to. No software changes. Hope that helps!

This board is very usefull to be used were APM module is not visible. I use in my new quadricopter made to go also in water. My APM 2.6 in mounted inside the shell and in this application light signals of the state (arm, gps,..) are not visible from external. So I mounted the board internally but near the cover on which I made two small holes in proximity of the two leds and I covered the holes whith 2 small transparent plastic lens sealed with silicon to be water tight. LEDS are bright and the buzzer is loud, ony a mini APM 3.1 not as easy to setup as on a normal one but works
