The lantern is perfect, all threaded connections are even, the colour is even. Shines a soft, pleasant slightly yellowish light, without blue. The brightness is enough for my tasks, the range too. Got what I expected, very pleased. Delivery approximately 3 weeks to the center of Russia.

Светит мягким, приятным чуть желтоватым светом, без синевы. Яркости хватает для моих задач, дальнобойности тоже. Получил то что ожидал, очень доволен. Доставка примерно 3 недели до центра России.

A flashlight, which has a nice form factor, and good stand still capability. The Red anodized version has a shiny, vivid look, and the flashlight is shipped in a small gift box as well. Button is metal, which feels a bit strange for first, but it is very sturdy. Switching mechanism is good for easy mode changes during bike riding sessions, I also like that special modes can be disabled. Caution is needed to be taken, when using this flashlight with higher amperage drivers (e.g. 7135x8), this is why I consider the 7135x4 driver as the best choice, as it still generates considerable heat on the highest setting, but it is not yet uncomfortable to hold for an extended period. The reflector is with orange peel texture, which makes a pleasing look for the beam. The beam has a relatively wide hotspot, which means, that throwing capability is limited. Flooding capability is very good, as the hotspot has moderate intensity, and its size is about 0.35 times the spill. A color shift towards the hotspot is apparent, but not dramatic (more yellow, and less deep blue in the hotspot compared to the spill). Body color is also reflected at the edge of the beam. Tint 7A is the warmest available, which has better uniformity regarding the colors in the beam. Please take a look at the attached beamshot comparison.

I have a Convoy S2+ 7135 X8 4C as well. Both excellent lights. 7135 x 4 lasts twice as long, still with useful brightness. Top notch quality. Wide beam with diffused hot spot. A quality bargain at the price.

Presa per fare un regalo economico ha superato le aspettative e ne ho comprate altre di cui una anche per me. Il fascio luminoso è veramente ampio (flood) ma veramente confortevole, grazie all'ampio fascio in casa e/o in un piccolo giardino la S2+ è l'ideale per vedere bene (ma va bene anche per escursioni se non si ha esigenza di vedere oltre 40 o 50 m) Bello poter scegliere le tinte e la potenza del driver, al momento ho solo acquistato esemplari con driver da *3 e da *4 Essendo molto compatta se si fa un utilizzo prolungato della torcia è bene evitare le versioni più potenti (driver da *6 e da *8) perchè altrimenti scalda molto. Comunque anche la versione meno potente (la *3) fa parecchia luce, più di quello che ci si aspetta. Volendo privilegiare l'autonomia la versione con driver da *3 è la perfetta EDC. Se si scelgono tinte molto calde come la 7A o la 5B potrebbe essere una buona idea prendere la versione con driver da *4 per compensare la perdita di luminosità dovuta alla tinta molto calda. La S2+ funziona sia con batterie protette che non protette, solo alcune batterie da 2600 mA non sono entrare in quanto di diametro troppo grande. Siccome il produttore non dichiara nulla ho fatto dei test di durata (runtime) scegliendo il livello Medium.
